Give

As we walk through the resurrection appearances of Christ in John 20-21, we will see how we can gain victory, NOT because of who we are, but because of who Christ is in us as a result of the resurrection.

You can’t out-give God

There’s no better place to invest than in the Kingdom of God. Our hearts are to be focused on investing in God’s eternal purposes, not on building our own temporary kingdoms (1 Timothy 6:7). Jesus talked about giving more than any other topic, and in the end, giving is all about the status of your heart.  The Bible says, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Luke 12:34).

SET UP A RECURRING GIFT

Life is busy, but that shouldn’t be a reason to lose focus on being a faithful giver. It takes 2 quick minutes and you can set up a recurring donation to help you stay consistent in giving.

What does God say about giving?

1. God owns it all (James 1:17)

2. You can’t out-give God (2 Corinthians 9:6)

3. We don’t give to get, we get to give! (Proverbs 11:24-25)
