Building Faith Today for Generations Tomorrow
God has opened an incredible door for a new church home for Highpoint Monmouth through the vision and generosity of Immanuel Baptist Church, a church with a Gospel legacy in our community for 137 years.
We’re not just stepping into a new building; we’re stepping into a new season of opportunity. This new church home will allow us to do ministry more effectively and reach even more people with the hope of Jesus.
While it needs some updates, the building provides room for growth with spaces for kids, students, groups and community outreach. Every space is a place for someone to believe, belong and become like Jesus.
It’s a place where people can encounter the love of Christ and where our ministry can continue to expand in both depth and reach for greater Gospel impact…
the why
greater gospel impact for all
By moving to two services this fall, we made room for more. More people, more stories, more Gospel impact. Our new church home will allow us to continue that vision.
It will seat 220 people in each service. We’ll continue with two services, now in a larger, open room where everyone can gather on the main floor as one. This space will offer better accessibility for those with physical needs, more room for connection and expanded parking to welcome even more of our community.
Greater Gospel Impact for Kids + Families
We want every child to experience the love of Jesus in a safe, welcoming and engaging environment. This new building provides more classrooms, moving kids out of the basement and into vibrant, age-appropriate spaces.
We’ll make necessary safety upgrades, install a check-in system and as the Lord provides, build out child + family bathrooms. Everything will be designed to support the ministry and create a space where kids, parents and families are excited to invite others.
Greater Gospel Impact in our Community
Our new home will include a dedicated Care Center, providing the hope and help of Jesus through resources, relationships and referrals.
Lives have already been transformed through our Care Center and the stories will continue as it remains a tangible expression of God’s love in Monmouth.
Hope Group will also have a new space to support its growing ministry, helping people experience hope in their suffering or struggling and making an even greater Gospel impact in our community.
Greater Gospel Impact for Spiritual Growth
From the curb to classrooms, we want every space to draw people into faith in Jesus.
Each space will be used for intentional ministry, from Discover Highpoint, leader training, Growth Groups, or gatherings for women, men and students.
We are not renovating for ourselves but for those yet to come, trusting that He who has been faithful then is faithful now.
What is Living Legacy?
Living Legacy is a two-part giving initiative to prepare and strengthen our new campus home, creating environments where people of all ages can believe in, belong to and become like Jesus.
Why Are We Moving?
God is growing His church in Monmouth. The new campus home will provide more space for kids, parking and community areas that invite connection. It is a place where we can welcome more people, reach more families and continue seeing lives changed by Jesus.
Is This a Church Merger?
No. This new campus home is a generous gift from Immanuel Baptist Church, who share our vision to see the gospel go further in Monmouth. Their congregation will join Highpoint Monmouth as one church family, united in faith and mission.
When Will We Move In?
We are trusting God to provide what is needed to complete the first phase and move in by late winter, with a grand opening celebration in March. Each step forward is a testimony of His faithfulness and provision.
What Will Happen to Our Current Building?
We plan to sell it and place any proceeds in a building reserve. Those funds will help care for future facility repairs and strengthen ongoing ministry for years to come.
How Can I help?
Pray: Ask God to provide and to use this new campus home to reach more people with the gospel.
Partner: Serve and give. Help prepare the building for ministry and give toward Living Legacy as God leads. Every act of service and generosity plays a part in what He is doing.
Promote: Inspire others in their walk by sharing your story of faith and generosity.
How is This Different From Other Giving Initiatives?
Every dollar given stays at Highpoint Monmouth to strengthen local ministry, serve our community and expand gospel reach.
Is This Part of Our Regular Giving?
No. Living Legacy is an offering above our regular tithes, which fund ministry operations. This offering prepares the spaces where that ministry can grow.
Are We Taking On Any Debt for This Project?
No. We will move forward as God provides, trusting His timing and practicing wise, faith-filled stewardship. As funds come in, we will begin projects with the greatest ministry impact first, believing God will provide every resource needed along the way.
How Can I Give?
You can give online, by check, through stock or asset gifts, or through your retirement or donor-advised fund. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For help with non-cash or legacy gifts, contact [email protected].
How Will Projects Be Prioritized?
We will move forward as funds come in, prioritizing the projects with the greatest ministry impact first. Our goal is not just to fund projects but to see God’s people grow in faith and generosity as He provides through them.
Will There Be Updates Along the Way?
Yes. Regular updates will be shared in services and through email, with progress and stories available anytime online at highpoint.church/livinglegacy.
