What?
Our mission is to reveal purpose, unlock potential and equip leaders to help people believe in, belong to and become like Jesus. This hands-on internship is designed to maximize your skills and develop you as a leader at Highpoint Church and beyond.
OUR INTERNSHIP IS BUILT AND DESIGNED AROUND THE FOLLOWING STAFF CULTURE AT HIGHPOINT CHURCH.
You will build community within the church, amongst fellow interns, our staff, partners, and volunteers.
You will be challenged to set goals in various areas and receive authentic accountability from leaders and peers.
You will sharpen your gifts and talents and be pushed past your comfort zone through one-on-one development with your assigned coach.
You will learn directly from the leaders and staff members at Highpoint on various topics that will stretch, grow, and equip you to succeed in leadership.
You will be given the opportunity to take ownership of tasks and projects within your department and gain confidence in your leadership.

Departments are designed for you to maximize your skill set through hands-on experience within these areas of ministry at Highpoint Church.

In addition to interning with a staff coach in a specific department to develop ministry competencies and professional skills, interns also experience

- Weekly Intern Discipleship – digging into God’s Word together

- Weekly Intern Development – personal money management, Working Genius, time management, leadership principles, spiritual gift assessment, theology overview, and more

- Intern Team Building Activities – goose chase in Chicago, White Sox game, Six Flags Great America, frisbee golf, team lunches, and more

- Visit to Stateville Prison – we take our interns inside the walls of the prison to interact with inmates (a summer highlight and life changing experience for many interns)
- Serve as an Intern Team with our Summerfest kids day camp and Highpoint Students events
The registration deadline is February 28, 2023; early bird deadline is November 30, 2022
